2: Try eating chia seeds
Chia seeds are something of a wonder drug, boosting energy levels and giving your body some serious nutritional bang for its buck. A favourite of the ancient Mayans and Aztecs, the seeds were used in times of war to help warriors stay alert and energised when it really mattered, and they could do the same for you. Helping to stabilise blood sugar, regulate glands, fight adrenal fatigue, and combat inflammation, they also have high levels of fibre and proteins in their small frames, which really does qualify them as a bona fide superfood.
3: Stay hydrated
It’s the oldest trick in the book and a cure for almost every problem known to man: drink more. Tiredness is often a result of mild dehydration, which can leave you feeling out of energy and exhausted. Because of the high water content in your body, even small dips in your H20 levels can impact your metabolism, and this means that having a bottle of something liquid to hand at all times is essential. Sources suggest that the average woman should be drinking around nine cups of fluids per day, whilst the average man should be aiming for 13.
